Can I personalise it?
Yes. Depending on the version, you can change the place name and add a short text or a logo. Choose Personalise at the top to see the options for your magnet.
How big is the magnet?
The skyline magnet is roughly 20 × 4 cm. Small enough for your fridge or magnetic board, but big enough to make out the landmark buildings.
Where will the magnet stay put?
On a clean, flat surface that is magnetic, such as most fridges and metal magnetic boards. It will not stay put on wood, glass, aluminium or some types of stainless steel. If in doubt, test the spot with an ordinary fridge magnet first.
How strong is the magnet?
The magnets are made to hold the skyline in place on a flat metal surface. It is decoration, not a hook: do not hang cards, keys or anything else from it.
Which versions are there?
We make the skyline magnet in wood. You can see which wood types are available for your city at the top of the page. Acrylic is not an option for this product.
Is this a good gift?
Yes: small, personal and easy to hand over. We wrap it neatly and there is no invoice in the box.

What is the delivery time, and can it be faster?
We make your product after you order it. The expected delivery time is 3 working days.
Need it sooner, or before a fixed date? That is often possible. Message us on WhatsApp or email [email protected] before you order. Tell us the product, the quantity, the delivery town and the date you need it.
Already ordered? Include your order number. We confirm what is achievable first.
What does shipping cost?
You will see the shipping cost at checkout. Within the Netherlands a parcel costs 5 euro. From 50 euro we ship free. For letterbox post and orders outside the Netherlands the amount may differ; you always see the final rate first.
Is there an invoice in the package?
No. You receive the invoice digitally; there is no invoice with price information and no packing slip in the box. Would you like it delivered straight to someone as a gift? You can add a personal wooden card or a neutral outer box if that option is offered with the product.
Can I return it?
A standard, unused product can be registered for return within 14 days of receipt. Return shipping is at your own expense. Products with your own engraving, text or logo are made to your specification and therefore fall outside the right of withdrawal. Damaged or wrongly delivered? Send us your order number and a few photos and we will resolve it free of charge.
How long is the warranty?
Your purchase is covered by the statutory warranty: the product must do what you may reasonably expect of it. Something wrong? Send us your order number, a short explanation and preferably a photo. We will look into it with you and find a suitable solution.
Can I order for my company?
Certainly. For companies, municipalities, schools and teams we make both small and large quantities, optionally with your own logo, name or message. Request a tailored quote; you will usually have a reply within one working day.

Ostend in miniature!
This unique Skyline Magnet is a true collector's item. Our favorites, but in miniature. Great to give or to receive, and suitable for sticking on the refrigerator or metal objects. The wood finish varies with each skyline, making it both unique and practical. The skyline is laser-etched from high-quality veneered wood, giving it an even more beautiful appearance.
You'll probably recognize them all; the highlights of this beloved place: Fort Napoleon, the National Monument for Seamen, Lange Nelle, Rock Strangers, Oostende Water Tower, the Icelandic vessel Amandine, the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul in Oostende, Mercator, Kursaal Oostende, and Thermae Palace. The skyline was created in collaboration with Ostend residents, and the silhouette is the work of our own artist. Made with love!

Duidelijk vormgegeven skyline. Het logo van woodwidecities had wat mij betreft achterop de magneet gemogen want verstoord het beeld nu een beetje. De magneet had net iets krachtiger gemogen om kans op vallen en daarbij beschadiging van het fijne snijwerk te verkleinen. Maar wellicht betekend dat ook een dikkere magneet en komt dat de vormgeving niet ten goede.
